21st Annual Central Texas Beef Cattle Meeting

The 21st annual Central Texas Beef Cattle Meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 virtually, via Zoom.  Registration is FREE.  Program will start at 1:00PM and continue until 4:30PM. Annual Beef Cattle Meeting

Original meeting  date of January 16 was cancelled due to weather and rescheduled for  this date. Somervell, Bosque, Hood and Johnson County A&M AgriLife extension offices are partnering to hold the 19th annual Central Texas Beef Cattle meeting.  This educational program will feature Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Specialists. The event is open to anybody who would like to attend.  It will provide a basic education in agriculture, specifically cow-calf operations.  Attendees with a pesticides applicator license can receive 1 continuing education hour for attending the event.

The nine county Extension Beef Cattle Program will be held on the beautiful “Swinging B” Ranch, Axtell, Texas on Friday, September 29th. The ranch is located off Kirkland Hill Road, 20 minutes North East of Waco.  This years’ program will include live cattle demonstrations, a ranch tour and a ribeye steak dinner.
