Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Bosque, Hood and Somervell counties are offering a one-day conference for child care providers and directors on Saturday, February 13. The conference topic is “Inclusive Child Care for Pre-School & School-Age Children with Special Needs.” This six-hour, CEU approved training will cover a variety of topics such as establishing a healthy and safe environment, challenging behavior and sensory integration issues, developing self-help skills, and activity based support for pre-school and school-aged children with special needs.
