2017 CenTex Beef Cattle Program

(Located off Kirkland Hill Road, 20 minutes north east of Waco)

The 2017 CenTex Beef Cattle Program will include live cattle demonstrations, a ranch tour and a ribeye steak dinner.  The demonstrations, ranch tour, and speakers will include topics such as:

• Embryo Transfer and a live ET/Flush
• Benefits of a Bull Gain Test
• Managing Warm Season Forages to Meet Your Goals
• Benefits of Technology in Beef Cattle
• Beefmaster Breeders Update
• Bull Selection and Management (live cattle on hand)
• Managing a Recip. And Donor Cow Herd
• Speakers will include:
  • Dan Miller and Dr. Todd Whitesell – M & W Cattle Services
  • Jason Cleere – Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Beef Cattle Specialist
  • Lance Bauer – Beefmaster Breeders United
  • Hugh Aljoe – Noble Foundation
  • Gustavo Toro – Sexing Technologies Marketing Director

A variety of Ag Commercial Vendor booths will be set up for you to visit before, during and after the Symposium.

Registration is $25.00 and will begin at 8:00 a.m.  One (1) IPM CEU Credit and Two (2) BQA Credits will be offered. For more information and to RSVP, please contact your local County Extension Office by September 25^th .
