Have you ever experienced Pole Bending, Barrel Racing or Stake Racing? If so, you must have been sitting astride a well-muscled steed. Just last week, several Bosque County youth had exciting rides in the District 8 4-H Horse Show in Belton.

A whoop and holler go to Jessica Harris, Sydney Harris, Dakota Underwood who won several awards.

Jessica Harris rode Black Jet Peppy, placing 4^th in the Stake Race, 5^th in Pole Bending and 9^th in Barrel Racing. Sydney Harris worked China King Bandicoot, winning 4^th in Barrel Racing, 6^th in the Stake Race and 8^th in Pole Bending. Dakota Underwood took 7^th place on Luther, who had a good run in the Barrel Racing Contest. Other participants were Darci Jernigan and Baylee Anderson.
