16th Annual Central Texas Beef Cattle Meeting

The annual Central Texas Beef Cattle Meeting on Bull Selection & Herd Health will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at the Buzzard Hallow Ranch located at 500 Coates Road in Granbury, Texas. Registration will start at 5:30PM with Dinner at 6:00PM and Programs at 6:30PM.

This is the sixteenth year for this event in our 4 county area (Bosque, Somervell, Hood and Johnson). This year’s program will include the following presentations: Bull Selection by Dr. Jason Johnson, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Beef Cattle Specialist; Herd Health/Vaccinations to Save You Money by Dr. Tom Hairgrove, Program Coordinator for Livestock and Food Animal Systems; and Cattle Numbers & Future Outlook by Dr. Jason Johnson, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Extension Economist.

Cost of the program and meal is $10.00 and can be paid at the door. Please confirm your attendance online at www.bosque.agrilife.org/ by contacting the Bosque County Extension Office at 254-435-2331 no later than January 13, or for any other information concerning the workshop.
