With Covid19 guidelines limiting face-to-face meetings we will offer the East Side Row Crop Tour via Zoom online meetings. I hope you will be able to join us for the East Side Row Crop Program, June 12th from 8 am-noon.
Attendees will need to click on the provided link to register for the program. When you register you will be able to enter your Texas Department of Agriculture applicator license number. For those with Certified Crop Advisor license you too will be able to enter your license number. The Zoom online format allows you to interact with the speaker, ask questions, etc. You can attend the meeting on a computer, ipad or smart phone.
Industry seed providers will be in attendance to say a few words about their varieties in our plot as well provide a brief plug for their company. The seed companies that work in our area are very supportive of Extension educational programs, research and agriculture in general. Dr. Ronnie Schnell will discuss the traits and technology available to producers. Mark Welch will provide an update on ag commodity markets. Dillon Demuth is going to talk about identifying pasture weeds and chemical control options. We will finish with our local TDA rep Brandi Kelm speaking on TDA Laws and Regulations.
