The Bosque County Extension Office is hosting Summer Fun Days every Tuesday in July from 8am-12pm. Registration is open for children in 3rd through 5th grade. We have some fun events planned for this year!
July 5: Ranch Day at Flat Top Ranch – Learn about the neat history of ranching in the early days of Bosque County, and learn how to cook over a campfire.
July 12: Trashion Show – Use your imagination to make a fun costume or outfit out of trash. Learn how to repurpose old things to make something new.
July 19: Photography Scavenger Hunt – Learn some basics about taking good pictures and join us on a scavenger hunt to find interesting things to photograph.
July 26: Cardboard Boat Races at Meridian State Park – Will you sink or swim? Teams will compete to make the best cardboard box and see how far they can go. Enjoy a fun time swimming and having a great time at Meridian State Park.
