Sheep & Goat Conference
The Bosque, Bell, Coryell, Falls, McLennan, Johnson, Hill, Hamilton, and Limestone County AgriLife Extension Offices will be hosting a Sheep & Goat Conference on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at The Exchange Events Center, located at 300 S Jefferson Ave in McGregor, Texas. Two Upcoming Programs for Bosque County Agriculture Producers
The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office has partnered with nearby counties to host two upcoming programs for agricultural producers and horticulturalist. On Thursday, April 11, 2024, a Pecan Field Day will be held at Russell’s Pecan Orchard, located at 12633 Gholson Road outside of Waco, TX. Texas Community Futures Forum
The Texas Community Futures Forum is being held in Bosque County to assist local Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Agents and the Leadership Advisory Board identify the most critical issues affecting local citizens. Our local Extension program has a rich history of providing educational programs that address the most critical issues in the county, related to Agriculture and Natural Resources, Families and Health, Youth Development and Community Development. Blackland Income Growth Conference January 9 &10 in Waco
The Blackland Income Growth Program seeks to improve the overall agricultural and agri-business economy of the Blackland area. This Annual BIG Conference is scheduled for January 9-10, 2024, at the BASE Extraco Events Center On Tuesday, January 9, commodity groups will offer educational programs, including a session on Wildlife, Cotton, Beef Cattle, Grain, Horticulture, Land Management and Forage. Private Applicators Pesticide Training
Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Bosque County will be hosting a Private Applicators Pesticide training on Friday, February 4, 2022, located at 104 S Fuller in Meridian. Registration will begin at 8:15 a.m. with the training starting at 8:30 a.m. and continue until noon. The training is open to the public. The cost of the class is $75.00.
