The Meridian Chamber of Commerce invites you to participate in our Chigger Fest 2014 Pie and Cake contest on Saturday, June 14.

Eligibility: This contest is open to all residents of Bosque County ages 7 through adult.

How to Enter: Complete an entry form for each category you wish to enter; there is no limit to the number of categories you may enter. Entry forms are to be submitted on the day of the event along with your pie or cake entry, entry fee of $1.00 per entry, and the recipe for the entry.

Entries: Each entry must be baked in an aluminum foil pan, and pans will not be returned. All cakes and pies will become the property of the Meridian Chamber of Commerce. Winning entries will be auctioned for the benefit of the Chamber of Commerce.

Judging: The judging committee will be judging the entries for the following criteria: Appearance, Taste & Texture for cakes and Appearance, Crust and Taste for Pies. This will be a blind judging and all decisions of the judges are final.

Prizes: Ribbons will be awarded for 1^st through 3^rd place in each category.

General: By participating in this event, entrants agree to abide by the contest rules and decisions of the judges.

Event Schedule:

Registration:  Bring your pie or cake and the recipe to the Pavilion at Bosque Bottoms between 10:00 am & 10:30 am on the day of the event, Saturday, June 14. Judging will begin at 11:00 am.

Winners will be announced following the announcement of the Barbecue Cookoff winners at 3:00 pm under the pavilion at Bosque Bottoms.
