21st Annual Central Texas Beef Cattle Meeting

The 21st annual Central Texas Beef Cattle Meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at the Cross J Ranch located at 18391 FM 56 near Kopperl, Texas. Registration and dinner will start at 5:30PM and program begins at 6:15PM.

This annual event is hosted jointly by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Services in Bosque, Hood, Somervell and Johnson Counties.  This year’s program will include the following presentations:

Heard Health & Maintaining Herd Health Though Proper Vaccinations by Dr. Jason Cleere, TAMU Beef Cattle Specialist;

Cattle Theft and Prevention by Marvin Wills, TSCRA Special Ranger

Marketing Your Cattle & Niche Markets by Dr. David Anderson, TAMU Agriculture Economist.

Cost of the program and meal is $10.00 and can be paid at the door. Please confirm your attendance by completing the form at the bottom of this page, or by contacting the Bosque County Extension Office at 254-435-2331 no later than April 24, or for any other information concerning the workshop.
