Whether you want to lose weight or just get healthy, you know you need to make changes but aren’t exactly sure what those changes need to be. The Learn to Live program provides information and answers to many questions you may have about the best methods to get healthy and stay that way.

Learn to Live is a free adult education course presented by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and Coryell Memorial Hospital. The program is a three week series that will be held beginning Thursday, March 30th at 6:30 pm. The course and all materials are provided for the participants at no charge. Weekly door prizes will also add to the fun. The series will be held at the Meridian Housing Authority Community Room, 205 1st Street in Meridian. Food Handlers Course
Texas A&M AgriLife Extension will be offering a Food Handlers Course at 2pm on Monday, April 3. The class will be held at Lutheran Sunset Ministries Assisted Living at 1700 W 9th Street in Clifton. The course is $20, which includes handouts and a Food Handlers Certification Card. This certification is required for all food service employees and anyone operating a cottage food business.
