The annual Central Texas Beef Cattle Meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the Meridian Civic Center located at 309 West River Street in Meridian, Texas. Registration will start at 5:30PM with Dinner at 6:00PM and Programs at 6:30PM.
This is the seventeenth year for this event in our four county area (Bosque, Somervell, Hood and Johnson). This year’s program will include the following presentations: Heifer Selection & Retention by Dr. Jason Cleere, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Beef Cattle Specialist; Beef Market Update by Dr. Jason Johnson, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Extension Economist; External Parasite Control by Dr. Sonja Swiger, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Livestock Entomologist. We will be offering 1 BQA Credit at this event.
Cost of the program and meal is $10.00 and can be paid at the door. Please confirm your attendance by contacting the Bosque County Extension Office at 254-435-2331 no later than January 15, or for any other information concerning the workshop.
