Food Challenge

We are so proud of the Bosque County 4-H Food Challenge Teams!  On Wednesday December 10, Bosque County 4-H sent three teams to compete at the District Food Challenge competition in Belton. The Crazy Cooks Team won 4th place and the Team Spirit Award in the Junior/Intermediate Fruits and Vegetable Category.  Crazy Cooks team members include Jackson DeBorde, Madisyn Hicks, Dakota Casssidy, and Hayden Hewitt .  The Sizzlin Sistah’s, consisting of Bailey Burt, Reese Errington, Libby Stauffer, and McKenzie Hicks, did an excellent job in the Junior/Intermediate Breads and Cereals category. There was one senior team from Bosque county competing and they call themselves the Savory Sisters. The team includes Mckenzie Errington, Darcy Wyatt, Emma Guillory, Elizabeth Seely, and Lia Worley. The Savory Sisters won first place in the Senior Nutritious Snack category, and will advance to the state contest at Texas 4-H Roundup in College Station. Congratulations to all of our teams and good luck to the Savory Sisters at Texas 4-H Roundup!
